This month we’ve been talking to our friend at Shakespeare’s Globe, the lovely Harper Ray about his thoughts on Family and the Theatre and how often the word “family” can be a real oversimplification and perhaps more care needs to be taken to really understand both kids and parents when developing theatre for this demographic. Here’s his latest blog on the topic: http://www.artsprofessional.co.uk/magazine/277/case-study/who-family-theatre

We’ve also travelled the the foothills of Snowdonia for a fun day at the Family Arts Conference to talk a little about kids and families today and specifically the role kids have in deciding what they want to do as a family. A really different and refreshing day – and nice to share our passion for families in such a creative environment!
